The project concerns the large, abandoned industrial complex (formerly the Manzini factory and the Centro Studi Archivio Comunicazione headquarters), which is strategically located and architecturally impressive. This group of buildings is situated near the historic center of Parma, in the San Leonardo district, an area that saw the city's first industrial expansion, aided by its proximity to the railway network.

The current context is marked by a strong social and multiethnic character, consisting of a disorganized urban fabric where residential areas coexist with a significant presence of small industries, crafts, and commerce. This area is currently undergoing significant urban regeneration efforts.
